The VSANNJ organizes informative and uplifting day excursions twice a year for members and their guests. Visits often include elegant mansions and beautiful gardens. Lunch and transportation are provided.
Past trips have included Olana, the magnificent Persian-style home of Frederick Church; the antique-laden house and lovely gardens of Caramoor; Hill-Stead Museum in Connecticut; the Vanderbilt Mansion and the Wilderstein estate — to name just a few.

Winterthur Museum and Gardens, Delaware.
Visit the home of Henry DuPont, furnished with fabulous, completely intact American period rooms salvaged from historic homes. The house showcases the finest collection of American antique silver, china, furniture, crystal, decorative items and complete rooms ever assembled. Inhale the fragrance and enjoy the beauty of the blooming gardens and acres of azaleas dotted with ornamental “folly” buildings as you tour the grounds by tram. Lunch on the pavilion is included.
